In the early morning hours of October 31, 2018, Norristown units were dispatched to assist Plymouth Fire Company, Station 43, on a building fire at Carfagno Chevrolet on E. Ridge Pike. On arrival, units faced heavy fire conditions in the rear of the building and initiated a defensive strategy. Due to the fire conditions, and strain on the water supply system, a 2nd alarm was sounded and the Large Diameter Hose (LDH) task force was dispatched. During the fire an additional crew staffing Engine 27-1 handled a fire alarm in Station 43’s local as well. Great job by all on scene! Photos are courtesy of Plymouth Fire Company No. 1.
