The Norristown Fire Department has announced that they will again distribute Thanksgiving Dinner for Norristown families in need for the 4th year in a row. Fire Chief, Tom O’Donnell has coordinated this event since its inception after recognizing the need in the community. “The Fire Department looks for opportunities to give back. It’s an initiative we hold close to our hearts.” Said Fire Chief O’Donnell.
Full turkey dinners with all the trimmings will be provided to selected families by the Norristown Fire Department staff and volunteers on Wednesday, November 21st. Pick up will take place at the Montgomery Hose Fire House at 201 West Freedley Street from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
This program would not be possible without the help of local businesses who donated towards the dinners; Aman’s Indian Bistro, USM, JP Warner Benefits, Randolph Insurance, Dekalb Street Thriftway, Sav-A-Lot, Altieri Meats and Signarama.
